I run a 14 tooth sprocket up front and a 47/48 on the rear depending on the track (short circuit racer)

The rule is -1 front = -3 rear

Its nowere near stock gearing as the bike power wheelies in 2nd and almost in 3rd topping out at about 140mph

 

^^^^I like this statement, i always read about these bikes are slow and have to be clutched up to wheelie even in first gear and top speed is crap.....I run a 14/45 setup and its lowered about as low as i can get it (im a looks guy) and i can power wheelie in first and clutch up 2nd around 8k. Fastest for me was 151 according to GPS. I'm content with that

 

these bikes ARE slow ON TRACK but on the road they are as fast as any other bike for example me on a gsxr 750 k1 beating a ducati penigale over 70 miles of twisty roads, because i was faster not the bike. but on track my steel frame gets dominated by pre injection R6's and anything made after 2001

I also have tuned the engine to 102bhp max out of these engines is 115bhp before you start blowing up every couple of miles.

standard you will be lucky to get 95bhp

and i did 155-160 'playing' with an aston martin db9 that was stock motor with less than 95bhp and stock gearing

 

Mine has a D&D slip on and a -1 front. I went Wednesday night and beat my previous record.

So I finally figured out what went wrong with the charging system on the bike, I changed that stator and R/R. and so far after having put 60kms on it no problems, checked the battery 3 times after going for a ride and it sits at 13.8 roughly each time. and most importantly it starts.
