Winter Rebuild...trackday wreck
The only pics i have are the one when the red bike is on the stand, you can see the severe frame damage. other than that the body work held up, levers, forks swingarm and engine are all good.
the only thing needing to be replaced is
frame
fairing stay
clip ons
right rearset which i already had spare parts to replace
I will change the sprockets and chain since it sat outside for months and got rusty
I wish i knew how he dumped this because the frame is absolutely mangled but the bodywork held up and the tank is mint! wtf.. who has a gopro when you need it. And the rider has a bout of amnesia and cannot remember where he dumped it on the track or how.

lol you say the only thing that needs to be replaced is the frame as if thats a small task haha. I just finished my motor swap and man that was a pita doing solo.. i can't imagine stripping this entire bike to get a new frame on her
Yeah I know, the best part of this project was disassembly, now that im down to engine with the bent frame off, Its all about looking at torque specs for every bolt and nut, It took 1 day to disassemble, and will take 2 months to put all of it back on.
Thankfully didnt have to split the case, just the torque for mounts forks calipers just about everything has a torque and it will take me forever to find them all. I dont plan on riding this bike, i use it to recruit riders to the track, so I want to make sure the forks dont fall off after a 140mph straightaway. needless to say the guy who dumped it last year "really didnt like" the track.
I must be not seeing something looking at your "severe frame damage" picture. I can only see damage to your subframe. You can easy cut off the old subframe and weld a new one on. heck, you could even make something custom and lighter weight since you're not going to be holding a passenger on it anytime soon!
EDIT: Even better yet, since these bikes crash a bunch and subframes break, weld on mounting points for custom subframes or maybe another bikes subframe so you can easily bolt on a new subframe in the future when it inevitably crashes again!

Jesse,
the damage was only to the subframe, but i didnt have access to a welder to fab it my self. I also decided to go ahead and rebuild the bike to modify the wiring harness and clean out the old girl. It had so much **** built up all over the place, leaves, gravel. After the bike was dumped by a friend, it sat outside for 5 months so a massive amount of rust collected. It give me the opportunity to go through the bike with a fine tooth comb instead of dealing with my sausage fingers trying to reach a bolt or part to clean.
Are you interested in fabricating a subframe for the old frame? I would be willing to work something out. The bent frame is sitting outside and has a clear title so I would even be interested in trading the old bent frame with title for a fab'd subframe so this wont have to happen next time.

I'm not really interested since I only own an F2 by proxy at the moment. My girlfriend is on an F2 I bought and fixed up for her, and she is definitely not taking it out at track paces. Hell, I went +1 tooth on the front and -2 on the rear to make it as wimpy as possible for her first bike, heh.
Makes sense to pull it all apart and race prep it. Cut down on non essential weight and what not, not to mention **** that can be damaged. There's a lot to be said for simplicity.
See if there is a fab shop near you. I bet the modification I'm mentioning would be pretty minimal, and having the ability to swap subframes in and out would be nice. The subframes on these are a softer steel prone to bending.
