Default Will 98 honda cbr parts fit on an f2?

Hey so ive been looking on ebay, and it seems like 98 is the same body style as a 94 and far more fairings on there for 98 than 94. Wondering if I can fit the 98 fairings on the 94 cbr 600 f2 without a problem?

thanks,
Tom

yes but the headlight is different so you will need to change that over and possibly the tail light.

do a search on here, it does take some time but its a huge resource and you will almost always find the answer. there is a good thread somewhere with the list of parts you can interchange.

thanks

To put on F3 fairings, you will need an F3 fairing stay, and headlight, like Jamie said, and yes, you will also need the F3 taillight, as well as the whole rear fender assembly too... this is a lot of money to spend just to put F3 fairings on, unless you luck out and find all these items used, and real cheap.

I am surprised though, because I gotta say, there are PILES of aftermarket fairing designs for the F2, I mean A LOT!! I once did look for F3 fairings, but it didn't seem to me at all that there was anymore to choose from for the F3, as opposed to the F2... where/what sites have you been searching on? Just eBay?

Tom, disregard the part of my last post where I was commenting on the abundance of F2 fairings available - I just found that you posed the question in another thread as well, but there you specified that you were looking for used OEM fairings - with that, it's just a crapshoot for about any old model of bike... you just have to keep scouring day in and day out, holding on for the right deal.

cool cool, i would go aftermarket, but i have been hearing mixed answers about the aftermarket ones on ebay, dhgate, etc. I dont want to lose out on 400 bucks because the hole is 2 inches away from where its suposed to be or something. I wish I can put f3 on there without a problem, would be awesome, I need a new headlight anyways so that should be an issue

The idle adjustment screw set is identical for the F2 and '95 to '96 F3, but the part number is different for the '97 to '98 F3 - what the differences would be, I am not certain... any particular reason you're wanting to use that specific part? Someone have an extra one for you? Anyway the correct F2 part is only about $11 brand new from the dealer.

On another note... with regards to the Chinese fairing sets, I have run two different kits on the F2, and if you peruse my two build threads, you'll find a little bit of information on my experiences with them.
