1994 HONDA CBR 600. 35,000 miles. Runs Great, May need new tires soon. Has some scratches. What would you sell this bike for?

Saw one in cycle trader at a dealer for $2999 and it had a salvage title. Yours looks much better. I'd wait til spring and list it for $3500 ... you can always ask less if it doesn't sell.

 

I dont plan on selling it. Its my first bike and I bought it for 800$. Just makin sure i got my moneys worth. It has some scratches and some cracked fairings, do u think its worth fixin up?

 

Yes..very worth it. You could easily resell it for twice as much once you're ready to move on to a newer bike. What's wrong with it besides cracked fairings?

 

2500 would be a good starting price.. and then work your way down. 2999... 3500 are just unrealistic.

Thats the only pictures i have for now. There is nothing wrong with it, i rode it the last week of summer and everything was great. It starts right up. It just has some wear and tear bc of its age, 2 fairings are cracked and scratched because it was laid down. The thing that worries me is the high mileage? how many miles do they ususally run for?

 

From the pic you posted if the other side is in similar shape I'd say start at $3500 to $4000 . Mileage becomes less of an issue on sportbikes after 10K miles. Seems to be a realization that if you have a sportbike with over 20K miles you must have taken care of it ...
