Default What is needed to do a F4i fork install on a streetfighter?

I have a F2 streetfighter and want to do a F4i fork install. What exactly do I need to get to make it fit on my bike? I need better forks than what a F2 fork can give me.

This is not an all-inclusive list. You'll need the whole front end, forks/wheel/brakes/triples/clipons. F2/F3 tubes are 41mm, F4 forks are 43mm. You'll probably need to figure out if the F4 or F2 head bearings are what you need - sure there's a thread around somewhere.

You'll also lose the factory speedo ability, with no way to get it working again.

The 94 model F2 fork was the 1st year they went to a real dampener cartridge with rebound control. If you got one of those it would bolt right up to your wheel/brakes etc.

F3 forks improved the rebound cartridge little, F3 uppers/internals will fit in your F2 lowers, so again you could keep your current wheel/brakes/clipons/speedo ability.

Throw some racetech goodies @ either setup and I bet it would be a pretty decent setup without all the guesswork.

Already have a vapor speedo. I have Racetech springs and seals and seals went yesterday. I would like to get into road-coursing and bigger brakes are needed. I like the adjustabilty, but oem F2 forks don't cut it.
If anyone has done this swap, what all do I need different than forks, wheel, brakes and fender???

Ok, how about this; Anyone ever installed a inverted fork on a F2? Which ones fit?

*edit* - meant to add I'm not sure any inverted forks "fit" if you mean "fit in our 41mm triples'.

*edit the edit* - I didn't realize the late 90's GSX-R's were inverted - so there I go not knowing everything again.

I've heard of several years of GSX-R or SV 650 forks fitting in our 41mm triples - Vortex says their 41mm clip ons fit the following:

Honda:
'91 to '98 CBR600F2/F3, '06 to '07 EX650R, '88 to '90 NT650 Hawk, '90 to '97 VFR750, '92 to '96 CBR1000, '98 to '02 VTR1000/Superhawk, and '89 to '90 CB1.
Kawasaki:
'90 to '97 ZX6/R, '06 to '08 Ninja 650R, and '88 to '90 ZX10.
Suzuki:
All GSF400/600 Bandit, '88 to '97 GSXR600/750/1100, '99 to '07 SV650, and '86 to '87 GSX750/1100.
Yamaha:
'94 to '95 YZF600, and '87 to '88 FZR750/1000.

Of those, it looks like the Suzuki forks might be your best bets for performance and tuning ability.

Thanks man! That is awesome. How do you go about knowing which headset/Races bearings to go with to fit the Mid 90's GSXR Triple to the F2? I know it can't be that easy.
