I have a 1991 CBR f2 and I have realized that a lot of parts on a f3 fit on my bike. Is there really any differences in the two bikes.

Lots of parts are different between the two. Lots of parts are the same. Hope that helps.

 

many differences. the f3 is not so much a redesighn from the ground up. its more or less a massively retooled f2.more compression,lighter internals,ram air,etc.

The F3 has better suspension as in more adjustability in the forks and shock. It has a slightly wider rear wheel and improved front brakes. The motor does have better/lighter internals and ram air as someone already pointed out. The fairings are slightly different as well.

 

so they r different but which one is better? is the F3 much faster? i have an f2 but ive never ridden an f3. just wondered.

The differences are largely nominal. I wouldn't be too concerned with whether a bike was an F2 or F3 and I probably wouldn't pay more for an F3 based on that fact alone.

 

Well Im and idiot and I told you all I was a noobie to the CBR world... Well as some of you may know I just got me a 1993 F2...great love it needs work and so on but thats not the problem....Well I have been getting some of the missing parts I needed and Im like what the hell , why dont they fit right....well reason being is that I have an F3 kit on there, and just found out.....well you live and learn I guess....
