Water pump?
My bike overheated today and the bottom hose that goes into the water pump busted. I put a new hose on and it seems to be working okay now. The hose doesnt swell up or anything. I drained the coolant and noticed oil in it. I drained the oil and there was no coolant in there. So just oil is getting to the coolant. i also drained the last bit of the coolant. My new thermostat is busted already(3 days old). I was wondering if i may need a new water pump or if i can test my current one to see if its working. How would i test it?
Check the o-rings in the heat exchanger on the front of the motor. It's a good idea to just generally clean/seal/go over that assembly if my motor is any indicator of what normally happens to the seals inside it over time. That was my problem. The water pump is actually a dual-seal shaft with a weep hole between the two seals, so coolant/oil exchange through that component is quite unlikely.
If you're like me and you get reeeeaaaal lucky, you can have it go the other way 'round too, where coolant goes into your oil and destroys every oil film bearing in the bottom end of your powerplant, and you have to take the motor down to bare cases and rebuild it.

Thankfully im not as lucky as you. lol. I overnighted all new o-rings for the water pump, thermostat housing, and all the ones for the oil cooler. The guy at the dealership said there are two that are the main cause of that so i bought a few jsut to make sure. lol As far as coolant in my oil i thankfully dont have that problem!
Your stealership man is right. There are two primary evil-doers in there. There are four directly related to the oil pathway, but only two come into awkward contact with coolant in the actual exchanger, and in my opinion there is a much better way to seal that assembly. You'll see what I mean when you get in there. They're used in compression and are the only barrier between the coolant and oil, and they get undercut by icky hot coolant goobers quite effortlessly. Mine were really perforated, and I have a "young" (20k miles, 1994) F2.

what about the other way around I did new headgasket and now have coolant getting into my oil not sure about oil into the radiator but i dont think so it gets warm and pushes the coolant into my oil pan thinking the seal for the water pump when it's pressured is blowing coolant into the engine when I had it apart nothing looked bad or damaged in the heads the cylinders or anything.
