That was it. Before I started it up for work yesterday,I turned the **** as far as I could in the opposite direction (ccw) then all the way back to the topwhere it was before. When I started it up, it shot to almost 6K and stayed there. I was then able to adjust with the **** back to around 1200. Guess it was stuck somehow.
Rode it to and from work without it shutting off like it was doing.
