tripple tree removal

Default tripple tree removal

how hard is it to remove these i have the service manual but its a little sketchy, any helping info would be good, also do u have buy new parts when reinstalling or can i re use all the parts.

I'd replace your steering stem bearings.

Remove your forks (take brake calipers and speedo cable off the forks), handlebars will come off at this time also

Then there's that big nut below your ignition switch, remove that and the dust seals and whatever other pieces are in there (looks like some kind of lock nuts) then the lower triple clamp (steering stem) will drop down with the bearings.

And that's it!

Just take your time and LOOK at what you're doing... Monkeys can work on this kind of stuff, you just need to use your brain and everything makes sense!

thanks i got a new frame and need to swap everything over, im going to order some bearing before i do it
