Do you remember what your wheel diameter was for the speedometer? I'm gonna need a math genius to help me soon... I think I'm going with a -1/+2 sprocket which will throw off the MPH reading. To fix it, I'll have to adjust the wheel diameter again... but to what lol? I'm sure somebody here can figure it out.

wheel diameter i will check...it's in my guage memory...also your sprocket won't throw off your speed at all...your sprocket only changes your torque curve...my bike has a 5 up in the rear and is all power from 0-80 then it tapers off and i can't go over 125.....and i work at home depot so all my aluminum stock comes from the hardware dept...i like the aluminum stock cause you can bend it in a vice and use a file to smooth edges....if you like a bracket you made you can always have it machined out of bilet later....

I need to find someone around here to make one... shouldn't be hard, I'm in Orlando. I'll probably just mount it like you said, then make something later. I wonder if -1/+2 is similar to +5? I guess it's kinda like a +4 in the end. I'd like to be able to do at least 130 mph. Does your front-end come up pretty easy with the +5?

in 1st it lifts very easy....incline or trying it will lift in 2 and really trying will lift in 3rd.... if you do +5 in rear and -1 in the front you will be all bottom end up to about 110 maybe better since you're full fairing...i am wanting a -1 since i don't need to go over 100 and i want to be able to pass cars in 5th gear by just rollin back on the throttle

I go to sarasota sometimes.... it's like 70 mi. from here... all interstate. So, I'd like to blast (relatively) fast over there. I know 130 isn't fast but there's always a compromise Right lol

i can hit 125 on my bike and that's with the carb's messed up....5+ in rear and no fairings so 130 should be manageable with a 5+ and possibly with a -1

That thing must be really quick, because mines not slow! Mine is an old race bike... I can tell because there is safety wire on everything... I kinda suspect a jet kit... I don't know about the gearing (I'm gonna replace it so I'll know). The powerband is almost like a 2 stroke... It's a dog down low.... breaks up a bit around 4800 rpm, Then BAM! At 5100 rpm.. the tone changes, and it's all power... all the way up. I think it just had it's day on the track, so the guy put all the old parts (exhaust, plastic) and sold it. I don't know? I'm fine with it.... I'd just like to lift the front off the throttle in 1st.

Hey, Did you ever get a chance to look at your wheel diameter for the vapor? Is it pretty close?
