RE: Trail Tech Vapor
i wrapped the spark plug wire around cylinder 2 wire and grounded it off my main harness...it's a little jumpy so i'd try a frame ground if i were you
Engine Temp sensor just bite the bullet and cut your radiator hose...i tried taking out my stock one to thread it in and it snapped off on the first turn...also put it in the upper hose so it gets the temp going into the radiator and not after it's been cooled...
to get the led backlight i just found a constant wire on my main harness and plugged it in there with a custom wire connector
and for speed sensor get you some double sided tape and some zip ties....i recomend you go to home depot and we have this tape over in the paint dept that is similar to double sided tape but it's flexible like putty and will allow you to stick it in place and adjust if you aren't getting a correct reading....also use the brake rotor bolt it works perfect
i will take pictures of everything tomorrow so you can see my set up....and if you'll tell me how to post pictures i will show you what i did to mount....

Cool! Thanks. I just need to figure out how to mount it (I run the full fairing). I'm thinking of getting the dash too.. you know, the thing that goes around the unit and has neutral, and high beam indicators. Looks like yours is mounted to the triple clamp.... I'd like to mount mine to the fairing stays. We'll see how it goes. -Fred

RE: Trail Tech Vapor
i was considering the dash but i can just look over my bars and see if the turn signals are on....the vapor has an engine temp sensor so no need for that one and i only run high beam so no need for that one so i am just gonna stick with the ecu itself....
if you have any questions post em up and i will give ya first hand advice....

Yeah, I need to take the cluster off and see what's back there. I'm pretty sure I'll have to come up with some sort of way to mount it. I thought of getting some carbon sheet, and having it cut to the same shape as the cluster..... That way it'll cover the void, and be at the same angle as stock. Aluminum would work too.... where do you get your aluminum stock?
