Default Track Bike

I just picked up a 92 F2 that I am planning to rebuild to do some track racing here in Bermuda. The track is pretty short, so I am looking at suggestions to help with the gearing for maximum speed during 1, 2, and 3rd gear. Also I would love some suggestions about turning this into a track bike, as I see many people around here have done that same.

I plan to start taking the bike apart tonight, and want to also know some of the things i don't need on the bike, along with some of the things i do need to include, or what I need to add on.

Thanks.

I have down 1 in front and up 2 in rear, if your track has no straight to speak of you could go more up in the rear, stainless brake lines, obviously you can lose all lights, I only have a tach on mine so no gauge panel, suspension upgrades but my biggest reccomendation would be Pirellis, good luck and post pics once its done

What gear sizes would that be. I am not even too sure what is on there stock. Also I need to get a new chain, and I see standard, O-Ring, and X-Ring. I need something good, but perhaps not full out race team craziness yet.

The track is a pretty small track, 900M at it's longest configuration, a lot of turns...so I don't think I would even get past 3rd gear anyhow, so bottom end is a good bet to play witj.
