top speeds.
hey all. Dont post on here much, though I lurk. I have an F2 over here in New Zealand (no, its not part of australia!!)
Anyway, I have quite high mileage on my bike, and though I can get to 140-145miles an hour, acceleration slows significantly at the top end.
my first question is this.
How long does your f2 take to get from 100-110, 110-120- 120-130, and 130-140? I find mine gets to 100 quite well, slows down a tad getting to 110, a tad more to 120, then drops a bit on the way to 130, and getting to 140 takes a bit of a wait.
Also, I have read the horsepower figures on paper between f1's and f2's, just wondered if anyone knows the difference on the track between the two, time-wise down the 1/4 mile.

That sounds about right for a stock f2. Also depends on your weight, drag etc, But if you can get to 145mph then its running just fine.
I thought NZ used kph like here in Oz? lol

Then its better to test it out on a track that is inspected and made for those speeds...

Take a ride down the road before doing so? If your gonna do something stupid, might as well take the time to check out the route and do a cop check BEFORE you do it instead of finding out the hard way afterwards.

At 120mph in the middle of nowhere, they won't chase you
Nah, in all seriousness, these bikes do creep up to their last little bit of potential. It's been that way on most of the bikes I have. I'm also two teeth up the rear though
