Time to strip...........
I knew that would catch some attention!
I removed all the fairings today and boy do I have a lot of work ahead of me. Seeing as though I bought this bike from someone that painted it with rattle cans, I need to know if anyone has experience with paint remover that is safe for plastic and fiberglass? I figured after talking with 99LS1 the best thing to do is get all of the old paint off and start fresh. I want to start stripping things this week so I can make repairs to a couple of cracks and such. If anyone knows of a stripper that is good for both I would appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Chris

Im not sure if paint stripper is safe for plastic or not, you might want to check before you soak the plastic. The biggest thing it might affect is warpage of the plastic or the stripper soaking into the plastic. Just imo.
There's a plastic safe paint remover called XXX bumper stripper..It comes in a spray can.
