Default Time to ride!

Alright then, I license the beast this Friday. It looks like Hell, something between a street fighter and a racer, a total Frankenbike for real. But I'll be damned if I'm not gonna ride it! If I must I could post pictures but I don't want to give anyone nightmares. Lol! I can't wait to ride it!

looks pretty decent to me - cleaned up good. Not much you can do for the headlight not fitting, those race fairings weren't designed to have one, I don't believe.

If you don't have good rear plastics, might as well look for a race tail too to complete the look :-)

Well, for sure, it still needs some polishin' up, but, it's not exactly the stuff nightmares are made of!!

I actually have the rear part of the kit. Funny, it's an Airtech kit! I'm really considering a full stock repop set.

I'm gonna paint the tank and front fender this weekend and put them on, that will help some. Going all white with black Honda graphics that I bought off Fleabay.

Default Maiden voyage

Well, today was the maiden voyage of my '91 CBR 600. This shot was taken about 5 miles from the fort. Farther than I would like to push her. After a tank vent mod. we went to Moses Lake, about 20 miles away. Not a problem. Well, except for the off idle to about 2K stumble. I'm gonna get the carbs synced soon and then chase it down with the pilot screws.

Size: 182.9 KBI'm painting the side/rear plastics now, I really need to get them on 'cuz it's HOT on the legs without them. Seems the forward cowling funnels all the heat right to your *** without the side/rear plastics. Gonna use the stock plastics on the rear. I'll have to sacrifice them 'cuz they won't work without cutting off the forward "tit" that goes in the grommet that isn't there 'cuz the original front plastics aren't there. Going all white with black graphics. Maybe black wheel stripes too.

Even with the rear fairings it funnels all the heat to your *** and thighs. I think it's just part of the design man.
