This bike definitely doesn't have 78k miles. It has the original cam chain tensioner and regulator rectifier on it. Finding those two original parts on this bike is like finding a car with 180k miles stick still on it's first set of tires.

Given the extent to which stuff has been replaced on this bike, I'm fairly positive these gauges were scavenged off of another bike, and it has significantly less miles.

20k miles though is very little for a bike... unless you're an idiot who never changes oil on it. My f2 has over 30k, and I beat kids on modern super sports with it all day long

$95 for a new R/R

I did put a new detent spring, but not a new detent arm. Detent spring took care of my problems.

Factory Pro Shift Kit. They're out there but in dwindling numbers. It starts out really hard to shift at first but breaks in quickly. I'm convinced the OEM spring loses it's gusto pretty quick, hence a broken in aftermarket spring is ideal.

Best R/R... not sure. I keep getting electrosport ones.

Pictures of the progress:

Front tire removed and swapped out. New wheel bearings put in.

Balanced!

Forks removed an fully rebuilt. Calipers cleaned, brake pads swapped... new steering stem bearings... the list goes on!

Back on two wheels again. Took it out for a seatless test ride this morning. Everything works good! Adjusted manual CCT to remove any cam chain noise. Bike runs, sounds, and feels GREAT!

Other work done:
-New 530 chain, and +1 -2 front sprocket (yes, less power. It's for a newer rider who is a girl)
-Oil change/filter
-Rear wheel bearings (to be done)
-New rear tire
-Rear brakes (to be done)
-New levers (Chineese adjustable ones) (half done)
-New R/R
-Frame sliders installed, plastics drilled to allow proper mounting still. (half done)

I'm sure I neglected to mention some things. I'm gunning to have it done this weekend ideally though, and ready for her to ride after that! All should be well!

More power to you man!

The bike has potential for being fightered. It wouldn't take much to create some basic covering for the bike and place all of your essentials on the interior. It would be fightered yet still have clean look.

Otherwise, you've just got a bike that look like it got in a fight with the street, and got beat the **** up!
