Default Subframe Question

Yes...I am aware than many people have posted threads on f4i tail swaps...but i havnt been able to get an answer to a question that i need oh so badly....so i decided to do a swap using a f4i subframe...instead of the stock one....and my question is...do you absolutley need to use the f4i subframe...or will the f4 work?..i ask this because i ordered a f4 subframe on ebay by accident..and want to know if i can use it or not...any help on this would be great...thanks

The F2 subframe is welded to the main frame...

I take it the F4 is a bolt-on type.

I hope you've got a welder...

yea yea yea i know its welded..i do have a welder, and yes im going to paint the welds.......i take it nobody knows abou the subframe compatability?

I think you're missing the point... (but maybe not)

They attach in two completely different ways.

It would also be foolish to assume that they'll match up if you just chop them up and weld them together.

You'd probably do well to convert the F2 mainframe to being a bolt-on subframe... lets you replace the subframe in the off chance that you bend it (just bolt on another F4 subframe).

It's South America, not Europe... And Europe is a continent, not a country...
