Default Sprocket question

I have a 94 cbr f2 and am looking to change the sprockets to 14, 45 respectively to get a little quicker acceleration. The kits I am finding to do this with have aluminum sprockets for the rear. I can stay with the stock gearing of 15, 43 and get the steel sprockets in the front and rear, but I was wondering are the aluminum sprockets with the new gearing going to be safe and reliable or should I just stick with the stock gearing.
