Default So should I swap in the 900 motor

I have a 93 F2 with a 98 F3 motor in her. We were planning to stunt it in the future, but I never got around to it. I got to thinking about swapping the 600 for a 900 mill and maybe a turbokit. I saw a website that details the 900swap, and Nipz has one I think. https://cbrforum.com/m_83850/tm.htm

So what do you guys think??

Should I sell my 600 motor and start on the swap??

YES!! She wil be very sleepy[>:] The Krylon will add to the effect...

"yeah its just a 600... with a turbo. only 7# boost on the stock motor, i swear"

I guess all thats left now is to sell my F3 motor and find a decent 9hundo mill. Why dont we discuss the limits of the 900 motor(HP wise)? Any good links that I should know about?

Thanks for the replys

Absolutely. When my 92 F2 motor went bad last year I swapped another F2 in only because I mainly use the bike for track days and a 600 is more agile and smoother than a 900+ cc motor.

That being said when the motor gives out next time around I will do the 900 swap and either turbo or nitrous. My goal will be 200.000 mph in a stock F2 frame and stock Plastics.

It will take a lot. Just broke 202 w/my 12 on nitrous so I realize this will not be an easy feat....but at least it'll weigh 70something lbs less than the 12!

things you might have problems with is the over heating. The reason is because you cant fit the stock radiator fan on there. you have to put it in front of the rad and it has to be small enough so the front tire does not hit it. lowering the bike would make this even harder. right now im looking for two 6inch to 8inch radiator fan to cool the beast of an engine. if you have any questions about the swap ask away! hope to help you out it is a toltal sleeper........
