Anybody know if you can transfer the shift drum and shift forks from an F3 into an F2 motor? I know that the F3 shift forks will fit into the F2 motor but the little cylindrical peice that goes into the shift drum is too big to fit the F2 drum.

I am hoping that the F3 shift drum is identical to the F2 just bigger grooves in it. Might just have to try it out and see but I was thinking maybe somebody had some input before I crack another bike open..
