Got the bike finally! Battery is dead so it's out on the tender, and it's dark out now so I'll have to wait til tomorrow to play with the carbs. Gotta get her running before it gets too cold out. Note the fairings are actually purple, don't know why they look so blue on camera.

I completely agree! I actually was just saying that the other day. The style of these bikes has been lost to the xxx/black color scheme and these designs are so much more original. Don't get me wrong though, I had an '06 and I loved it.

Thanks! Ya the body is in great shape for a 16 y/o. Some minor cosmetics but that's to be expected. I'll get a couple hours of wrench time in between classes today so hopefully thats enough to get a look at the carbs. I bet they're disgusting lol
