RE: Say Hello To My Little Friend!
Dude, thats awesome. is that a 450r? I like the look of supermoto but I don't think I'd ever feel confident riding one on the street. I really liked my dirtbike when I had it, but I sold it because I was afraid I was going to get myself killed on it. Those front brakes are HUGE! How much did that set you back? Did you do the conversion yourself?

Yep, 450R! 55hp, 230 lb's... She FLIES!
The front brake is insane, Full Brembo 4 pot caliper and brembo radial master cylinder, 320mm rotor, 1 finger over the handle-bar stoppies!
The thing about motards is that they can carry way more corner speeds than sportbikes, and much more lean angle... This thing is a blast...
I did the conversion on my own, 17" Morad wheels, Brembo brake, Pilot Powers...
I had to machine the wheel spacers myself and order different bearings to make it work on my bike (this kit was made for a Gas Gas bike). I also fabbed up that brake relocator bracket on the front brake to fit the massive pie plate & caliper in there (relocator is pictured without paint, being finished this week).
She'll be running the street tires, and if I feel like it I can put the dirt rims/tires/brake back on in under an hour and go get dirty.
I wont be making it street legal yet, this is going to be my track toy for now. I didn't want to destroy my F2 on the track so I went with something that crashes better (cheaper), and honestly is a lot more fun to ride hard than the CBR.
I'm having my friend at the sign shop print me up some stickers for my race # and a few logo's.
I've got a few more plans for this bike, and a few pieces to add as the year progresses... First track day is tomorrow night, so I'll post pictures and video if I can get some.
Here are some better pictures:
