Safe Crusing RPM?

Safe Crusing RPM?
I bought an F2 this spring and it is definitely re-geared. I am wondering how high up in the revs this motor is safe to cruise at for long durations (over an hour at constant(ish) RPM). I have large hills to go up and down everyday similar to San Fransisco, and some nice stretches of twisty road to really twist it up in so I enjoy the extra grunt.
I LOVE how this thing pulls. Pulled my 93 against a 2009 R6 and he stood no chance, I was faster to 60 by a bit and blew him out of the water to 100 (was just a dot in the mirror, he said he was on it full kill) and I'm a 280LB fatty.
I reline in 6th at ~157MPH and find myself flowing with traffic at ~8,000RPM's. The rear is a 45 tooth, been too lazy / busy to pull the cover and check the front gear. I'm also only getting in the mid 30's for fuel mileage, is this a result of the re-gearing or is this fairly normal? The R6 owner stated he gets around 53MPG with his tall geared, fuel injected, new bike.
Thanks for your thoughts,
Harold

There is no way in hell you're re-geared AND peaking out at 157mph. The bikes top speed with stock gearing is 150mph, which given a 5% speedo-error would amount to 157.5mph indicated at top speed. Adjusting your gearing will reduce this top speed, so if the gearing is even at all off from stock, you wouldn't be getting those numbers.
I've been as close as I care to get to topping out, and I hit an indicated 145 at 12k RPM, and again the gauges are off. I'm also +2 in the rear.

His friend probably has something wrong with the bike, is afraid of high RPM's, or is a woman
Just kidding... at least about the woman part. There's no way in hell this bike holds a candle to a brand new R6, espescially with stock gearing, and espescially from 60mph-100 when regeared heavily.
