Default Riding Gloves

Im just looking for some advice on what a solid pair of driving gloves would be. Any help in brand, what to look for, price or were to buy would be helpful.

Icon does have some really nice gloves, especially this year and they are resonably priced.

Gauntlet gloves are a style of glove that come up over your wrists and overlap your riding jacket... like this:

It gives you better protection if you go down by not leaving a gap between your sleeve and non-gauntlet style gloves -- not letting your wrist area get road rash.

For gear I use gives me great looks and protection without hurting the bank too much.. I paid roughly $2000 for all my gear

- Joe Rocket Leather/Armoured Jacket
- Joe Rocket MeshArmouredPants
- Joe Rocket Gloves with Armor knuckles
- Setup Boots Leather with a Soild slide toe
- Arial pearl black bucket

I just got done doing an exhaustive search for new track gloves.

newenough.com.Check out the Motogp RPM gloves...$53

Motomummy dot comhas MotoGP Nitrous gloves silly cheap..$130 glove for $77. MotoGP stuff is made by Berik, a European company..berik is worn by a lot of high dollar riders.

Joe rocket stuff has gotten better, don't know that I'd trust my hands to Icon yet. Alpinestars and AGV gloves are ****....they might feel decent, but don't hold up in a down. I am a personal fan of Fieldsheer....I've crash tested their stuff, as I have with Teknic's - Viloators are a good glove.

If you havemoney to burncheck out names line RS Taichi, Ku****ano, Held, Hyod.

For $100-130 there are lots of NICE gloves by AXO, Marsee, Fieldsheer, Spidi, kobe, Komodo.

Your hands are the first thing to touch the ground in a crash....not a place to skimp.

i have seen people go down wearing icon's and that is what sold me on the gloves that i had. they had minimal rash and not a scratch on the skin.. they held up VERY good.. i will trust them anytime..
