Why does my bike only run and not die out when i have the reserve on????Even with a full tank of gas my bike will die with the reserve off.Weird.Does anyone know where to get cheap bodie parts like fairings n stuff.Some important plastic parts flew off on the freeway i guess I was going to fast they just ripped off lol big panals

 

Sounds like a bad petcock(gas turn-off switch). Your local Craigslist and ebay are places to find fairings as well as the site here.

Filter up inside the tank could be plugged also, I'd check that while you are checking your petcock (it comes out with the petcock)
