Default Regulator/Rectifier issue???

Hey everyone, I just read the issue about the regulator/rectifier problem and I think I'm experien
cing some symptoms although slightly differen't. 3 days ago, I started my bike (91 CBR 600F2), I rode it for about 15 minutes or so and when I got back home and turned it off, it wouldn't restart. It acted like the battery was dying with a slow turnover. For the next 2 days, I would tart it up and it would be fine but yet again after getting up to operating temp, it would not restart, it would turn over with a slow rrrrrr.....rrrrrr and thats it. I'm not electrically savvy to test the charging system and wondered what the heck is going on with my bike.

Thanks, Rich

BTW, I'm in San Antonio in 102 degree weather (might be a factor)

Check out the sticky post on RR's. Also, you said you don't have much electrical experience, but I would buy a $30 multimeter and test your RR. It's a great tool to have, especially with these old bikes. I went through a blown out RR and just fixed it today. Last week I had no idea what an RR even was, next thing you know I spliced in one from a 2003 CBR600RR and I'm good to go.

Check out this write-up, and use their troubleshooting diagram.
