Hey guys, so I own a 1993 Honda F2 100% stock 600CC sportbike.

so heres my funny story. I'm driving my bike down the street and this weird looking guy in the most sexy car ever made keeps pulling & speeding up and down past me.. so alright? does he want too race or can he just not drive his $200.000 sportcar?.. either way.. I'm on a 14 year old bike so what can I do lol.. maybe if I was driving my friends Yammy R-1 im thinking I'd stand a chance well at least a better chance then on my F2 so anyways..I carry on down the street minding my own business doing the speed limit.. so we hit a light andI catch up too the guy as he says " Light to Light for fun? " my reply was " why not "with a huge grin on my face knowing already that this car is serious power. The F2's a quick bike but not even close too being able too keep up with this car.. I already knew this but its fur fun right!!

So heres the race or " funny story "

Light turns green and we both **** off down the street.. its roughly 3/8's of a mile. Pretty nice peice of road, smooth and clean.. no triffic what so ever so were going at this point.. first and second gear I was almost at his side... slightly at his rear bumper by this point.. im not too sure what gear this guys in at this point in time im thinking first still..
So Im shifting intoo Third he intoo second Im thinking?and all of a sudden he must have been done playing with me.I heard a loud whinning moan and just saw the back end of his car flying away from me.. Guys I was in the tripple diggets ( Canadian Km/h ) it was the best feeling ever.. I'm no street racer.. Just a guy looking for some fun maybe a cheap rush and boy did I find it today! what a great time!!!

If anyone cares the car was a bright Burned orange with black rims. SO SEXY!!!

what are you talking about? 1/4 mile times? Ummm......very doubtful. The newest diablo (2000-2001) VT 6.0L made 550hp and weighed 3600lbs (3770lbs with 170lb driver). Thats a power to weight ratio of ~7lbs per hp. CBR F2 weighs about 620bs with rider and at 90hp makes for a very similar power to weight ratio as the lambo. My suspision is that the lambo is a low 11 sec car in the 1/4, much like the CBR F2.

perhaps your bike needs a tune up? With a similar power to weight ratio, and both vehicles driven to their max potential (the car being the easier of the two to get the most out of), they should be decently close in accelleration.

 

stock Diablo dont wine... lol.... this guy was probly superchage and runing faster the 11's.

 

The 0-60 time for a stock Diablo is right in line with any sportbike...

0-100 mph....less than 9 seconds

I don't know guys, All I know is my 93 F2 has low millage and is well maintained. this car was just amazing fast! I know for a fact that out bikes top out at 244.5 km/h well thats what the site was saying anyways..
Can anyone add too the speed of our stock bikes?

 

It is much easier for anaverage driver to beat an average rider off the line. Its also easier for an average driver toget the most out of 1st and 2nd then an average rider.

3800lb Lambo / 450rwhp = 8.4 to 1
620lb F2 / 82rwhp = 7.5 to 1

Lambo at 125mph (drag CO. .32, frontal area 21.6ft) uses 106 h.p.
F2 at 125mph ( drag CO .610, frontal area 6.01ft) uses 49 h.p.

That means at 125mph a Lambo still has 350 rwhp while the F2 only has 33 rwhp.

At 125mph
Lambo 10.8 to 1 power to weight.
F218.8 to 1 power to weight.

 

I beat around in a Diablo once..a few Lambo's actually. They have some power!

All I can say is, never hand your $200,000 keys to a 18 year old kid wearing a Valet jacket[sm=badbadbad.gif].

In fact never valet your car..we pretty much treated every carlike a test drive without the sales personthere.

 

I've never raced a Diablo...so don't know.

Today I did smoke some guy in a Mustang...one of the new ones...it was souped up a bit.

I was in a bad mood...and this guy was revving the POS...annoyingly.

So...I beat him...by 20 car lenghts to the next light..

By the time he arrived at the light...it turned greeen...and he had a rolling start.

I just gunned....10 grand...3rd...4th...5th...

I looked in my mirrors...and he was a dot...

I pulled into a gas station..hoping he was gonna be a dumb*** and pop off or something as well....

He didn't.

Mutsangs are nothing like a Diablo...but it was fun..
