CCT is the Cam chain tensioner (it keeps the right amount of tension on the cam chain) like when you adjust the drive chain after it gets loose... same with the cct... it adjusts the cam chain.

You don't HAVE to replace it if the noise is minimal but don't you want your bike to sound sweet when you start it up? Could be embarrassing.

No, it does not. It starts out with one tension, and slowly loosens over time. The stock Honda CCT is not adjustable, so it just keeps bending further and further until your cam chain falls off and you can't "unbend" it.

Ape makes a nice CCT that you CAN adjust over time, but it requires you to replace your existing one. This is a big point of contention, as no one has ever seen a stock CCT wear to the point of failure. Many people just deal with the noise, and keep on riding.

Woah. Stay farrrrrrrr the **** away from those Hong Kong fairings. They're total honeypots. Look awesome on paper, then look like crap on your bike.

Take yours off and have them sanded and painted. The only fairings that ever fit right are Honda OEM:

Airtech used to make Honda's fairings, so assume it's gotta be legit.
