Default problem with my f2

When i first start my 92' F2, it kind of rattles, sounds almost like a diesel when its not in gear, then when it warms up it goes away, should i be worried at all? I'm not sure the effect it would have but the bike used to have a jet kit, its been dyno tuned, and it has a yosh slip on. First bike, im just trying to maintain it best i can. and this had been awesome reading material for me.

If everything I have read is correct, you probably need to change the cam chain tensioner. Most people suggest the manual one as the replacement hydraulic ones don't work as good.

How much does changing the cam tensioner cost? I might need one also. I'll find out after my bike gets a tune-up.

sure does. it was kind of worrying me, because after some time of running it. when i come to stop it had haulted... so its not a problem i have to address before i ride it again then is it? I'm very new to bikes, and will have to read up on how to do the manual cam chain tensioner mod. and what are the symptoms of a 2nd gear shift work being bent? when i get on the throttly and take it close to redline and shift to second sometimes it wont catch gear and i end up reving it in neutral. I figured it was because i wasn't lifting up hard enough to go into 2nd. but im wondering if the betn fork could also be the problem.
