Poll: How many of you have sliders on F2?
Just wondering, especially since our bikes are so old...they are not worth much money wise.
BUT... since our bikes are so old, parts are harder to find esp. if we go down.
that's why I put on sliders
Just wondering if anyone else has?

Sorry!
I mean "frame sliders" which are those little plastic "pucks" that stick out the sides of a bike... so in case you drop the bike the frame of the bike won't be damaged.
It may also help protect the fairings from hitting the ground.
No pics of mine sorry but one day i'll get some.... I had to drill holes in my fairings to make the sliders stick out...where they are bolted.
But it's better to me than to have my fairings crack if I fall.

I wish I knew that a few months ago before I dropped my bike and cracked the left fairing.

Does anyone have a picture of these installed? Ive never seen one but agree that were our bikes are old if they go down its not easy to find parts, so if these are not that expensive and are work then I would grab a set.

in most cases sliders are useless. they really only protect the bike if it falls over gently. if youre ever in a lowside crash the slider usually bends or breaks off. i have seen only a few bikes come out of a crash where the slider took most of the damage and i have seen MANY come out like the slider was never there.
