I have not clear coated them, i prob should... Took me about 12hrs the wheels had primer grey, black, primer gray and white.

Looks good.. its a ton of work.. i polished the lips on my wheels this winter and it takes a bit

I would have just polished the lips but because the paint job was no good I needed to do the whole thing. That paint stripper is nasty, a little drop gets on You and itfeels like You were bit by a wasp. Looks great, but it isALOT of work, would rather do an engine swap.

Hurry up and clear those rims, man. Otherwise they won't stay that nice for long! You'll have all kinds of oxidation, scratching, and pitting.

You are right it is alot harder to maintain unpainted rims. The good thing is that the bike is kept in a garage and is only taken out on beautiful days. prob get them clear coated this weekend.

looks good mine are polished also. they are pretty hard to keep clean but they look good when they are
