Default Please Help! with Serial number stamp

Hey all,
I am looking at buying a motor from a 93 F2. The guy claims that there is only 3000 kms) 1900 miles on it. I am hoping to do a serial search but I cannot find it. I remember finding it on my 91 on the right side. Please help if you know. I really want to take the motor home by the weekend if it all checks out.
Cheers,
Scott

1900 miles, sounds like B*** S*** to me, the motor is 16 years old and 1900 miles, something doesnt add up. I would triple check the serial number.

If there's no odometer attached to the engine, I would never believe such a claim...

Is it a private seller or a wrecker? The wrecker should have records of mileage if the engine came attached to a bike.
