Well if your having trouble with top speeds you might have an aftermarket sprocket kit slowing you down, that's my only thought that I can get out of it.

hey thanks mike, let me try to explain what the bike does, if i shift around 7k rpms i will hit 75 mph in 6th gear but from there up is like the bike is slugish, now if i **** around 10k all the way to 6th gear will get to mmmm around 125 130 mph but inotice my temp gauge acting weird like jump up and down? can be the cdi box????? the bike runs very strong from start till i hit high speeds i really never rode a cbr before i wanna be sure that im not doing something wrong in the way i riding the bike. other thing if i doing 6 or 70 and i cut the trotlhe for a sec and hit it again the bike jurks for like 1/2 sec thats normal in a bike whit carburators? gonna get back to the shop on saturday and do my budy ride the bike but i dont think i will get up to 120 to check what im felling.

There are 6 gears lol...

6th gear is a cruising gear though, you wont get much punch out of it unless you shift later (10k+)

At high speeds is where the 600 runs out of torque, pretty normal to feel sluggish in top gear.

Go put your car in 5th on the highway and floor it...nothing happens!

Hmmm.... This is the first ever hearing about a flat spot on the F2. Mine runs like a "bat out of hell" from idle to ***** out WOT!
The only thing I can think of is carb adjustments, cleaning there of, plugs, and/or tune up maintenance.

These... go to eleven.

Yeah, top gear won't feel all that powerful unless you shift in at a higher rpm. Though Mike's sprocket idea might be something to check.

The "flat spot" is normal..F2's are only running about 90 BHP at the rear wheel and dont make alot of power until they hit their power curve around 7,000 rpm which is when the bike really takes off. If you want the "hit" from idle up to redline you are going to need a newer (and bigger) bike with more HP.
