new fuel pump,
F2 doesn't have a fuel pump.F2 has gravity feed.Ram air requires "a little help" from a fuel pump, about 4 psi,25-30 gpm, which is why the F3 has/requires one. I think that's your problem.Fuel line should go from the petcock straight to the "t-line" on the carbs.Make sure the vacuum line from the #1 cylinder is connected to the petcock,so as to openup the diaphragm inside the petcock. You can do all of that in 30 minutes.

my bike is having similar problems. It has a hard time starting up, but cranks fine. It seems its not getting any gas to it and i know the gas in it is fine. The petcock has to be all the way to the right correct?

The Petcock needs to be pointing up or down. Up for the reserve tank, down for the primary. On, mine, if I turn it clockwise till it stops, I get no gas flow. I have to back up a faction of a turn.

The engine is cranking, maybe the cylinders are getting flooded. The gas needs to be in vapor form plus has the right ratio of air to support combustion.

Turn the petcock all the way counter-clockwise... that is "On"

Turn the petcock one click (90degress) clockwise... that is "Off"

Turn the petcock one click (90degrees) clockwise from the off position, that is "Reserve". Reserve is 180degrees from On. Not really sure how more detailed I can get, check the manual, there's a picture of it in there as well.

if the engine is flooded it could be the fuel valves or jets they are attached to the floats and they might not look that bad but might not seal correctly causing the gas to never stop rushing in the carbs this will flood the engine 99% of the time check the oil if it smells like gas that is a good indicator to this problem...just an idea

Are you sure gas is getting to the carbs ?

Take the fuel line off the petcock, and take off the vacumeline on cylinder 1, and suck on it.
Does fuel come out of the petcock?

Is the chocke functioning correctly ?

Are the igniter leads on the correct cylinders ?

And your kill switch in in "run"

kickstand, and gears witch work correctly...?
