Right now it has a 43T in rear.. I havent checked the front yet...when I ask for a chain, what is the difference between O ring chain and non O ring chain.. Why would it have a 43 t in rear?
15/43 Is stock on my 92. (91-94 actually) The 45 would be the +2 that a lot of people do for acceleration. IMHO, unless you are racing from light to light you do not need it.
530 o-ring chain is OE. They are pretty hefty chains and there are lots of chains out there. When I got my bike last summer I replaced the chain and sprockets. Bought a $99 eBay special and have put nearly 10,000 miles on the bike since then. The chain they sent me was a KMC chain with a clip link and I haven't had a problem. I know some people say they are dangerous. if they were that dangerous then they wouldn't be sold IMHO. Those clips clip in tight and if installed properly they should never come loose.

If you want to free up some horse power swap to a 520 conversion setup.Get the kit it saves the hassle of finding seperate parts. The 520 setup is really strong. And it looks better without the log chain.
a chain breaker/rivet spinner tool, like the one Motion Pro sells would very likely help you make installing the chain much simpler. I trust the 530 chain a LOT more than a 520 on the CBR, 520 just looks sooo flimsy in comparison. not really a chain I'd like to own/run.
You can take the chain off without a tool. All you need is a dremel. You will need some kind of chain press to install the new chain. The 520 setup will be MUCH cheaper since there is less material you're getting. its also a LOT lighter. Even if you keep the same gearing ratio, you'll feel a SLIGHT bump in acceleration by just using a 520 setup. The 520 setup is pretty reliable especially on the F2/F3. It doesnt make enough power to break a 520 chain.
I used the 520 conversion on a motorcycle with 50 more horsepower than the old CBR and it is holding up well. If you buy the chain breaker kit it usually has the riveter as well so no masterlink with a clipis required.
