Default No start issue, no spark & vacuum?

not sure if I have all of my hoses in order yet, but I'm running into a no spark/very low spark issue. I tried two of my existing spark plugs on all 4 wires and saw no visible spark on either.

I'm already accepting of the conclusion to upgrade to the 1000RR COP setup with new plugs, but I want to make sure everything else is in order.

hi i also read your other thread. imo the ignition system is pretty simple.. positive battery line goes to the ignition pulse generator connector (under the seat, right infront of the battery box... and right next to my idle speed screw), to the ignition pulse generator itself, to the coils, to the wires, to the plugs.. first step would be to get a voltmeter and check the coil then the wires. a while ago both my coils were good but i had a bad wire. you gotta check everything with the voltmeter

im also in the process of working out a kink... a pretty major kink. i had a problem, fixed that problem, and now theres an even worse problem that had nothing to do with what i did to fix the original problem. its like it just came out of nowhere. good luck on finding your issue, hope i helped
