Default Newbie Questions

I have a 1992 Honda CBR F2

Questions:

What oil do I use?

What are the best brake pads to buy, and from where?

And I changed my waterpump and all my coolant leaked out...where do I fill it back with coolant once I put a new pump on?

Thanks,

Brandon

As far as oil goes use any brand you prefer as long as it is 10w-40 motorcycle oil it has to be made for wet clutch protection. And as far as the coolant goes there is a cap on the radiator but to get to it you have to take off your right side front fairing and maybe the lower fairing too (the right side when your sitting on the bike) and you will see the cap. After that is full check your overflow tank on right side of bike above the rear brake peddle and fill that to the corresponding levels that are marked on the tank

Also, when I took my tank off theyre are 4 tubes. 2 on the petcock and 2 breather tubes on the rear. Of the 2 on the rear, where does the fat one go. when I disconnected it, it literally fell through to the bottom of the bike...should it be disconnected like this??

The 2 breather tubes are just that - breather tubes. When reinstalling the tank, you lock them in place in their respective guides then route them downward so that if there is fuel overflow from them, the fuel will drain to the bottom and away from the bike. It is important to make sure there are no obstructions on the hose ends.
