Default new tires

I've decided that its time to invest in some new tires. I decided to just order new front and back tires. I have a 92 CBR600F2 and was wondering if a 120/70/17 will work for the front tire?? I have a 120/60/17 on it right now and was wondering if that will work? Also any place to get a good tire for a decent price would be helpful too. Thanks.

It will just fine. I'm actually running that size front Pilot now.Take a look at Cycle Gear and wait for their tire specials.

Yeah I was checking out the tires on bikebandit.com The shinko looked pretty good priced but it had no reviews at all. Does anybody have any experience with the shinko brand for tires. If I cant get anything back I was planning on getting the Pirelli Diablo due to the decent price and all around great review.

there are reviews for the shinkos on other forum such as superbikes, cbrworld (i think). a lot of people say that they are decent and their price is amazing. i paid 88 for the rear tire shipped.

EDIT: i lied the review were on here https://cbrforum.com/m_253019/tm.htm

I've got about 1000 miles on a front and about 800 miles on a rear Shingko, and I'm a happy camper. Had a Metzler on the rear when I got it, and it would spin on dry pavement from just a hard roll on the throttle, 1st and 2nd. This Shingko will bog the motor on a 5000 rpm launch. I did go up to a 190/50/ZR17 on the rear though.

Aaahh... damn you. I was set on getting some a pair of Pirelli Diablo Rosso's for $260 shipped from kneedraggers.com, but for almost $100 less this makes my desicion very hard now.
