Default new seat

After having my '92 F2 for many years it was time for a more comfortable seat. I had a difficult time deciding between a corbin and a sargent seat. I went with the sargent and it just arrived today. So far I like it and is much more comfortable than the stock seat. Need to do a long ride to see how much better.

I wasn't sure about going with an all black seat as the orig was an all red but I like how it looks on the bike.It has a much deeper cutout to sit in but overall I sit a little higher I think. Next thing will be a double bubble windscreen to get the air up a little higher.

Anyone else try an aftermarket seat?

I bought it direct from Sargentcycle.com. Price was $249 which is less than the corbin.

Did you order an all PolyTec, leather seat or with a CarbonFX material on the seating area?
How does the quality feel comared to the stock one?
Hows the friction on the seat? More or less slippery than the original one?

I got the CarbonFX material. I would say it's slightly more slippery than stock but when riding not an issue. The way you 'fit' in the seat you don't move around unless you want to. The backstop on the seat is awesome and you'll find yourself sliding back to touch that on hard accells. I haven't done any measurements yet but I feel sitting up a little higher than the stock seat. Went for a 40 minute ride today and was very comfy. Big improvement over the stock seat.
