Masked off and spray bombed silver. Used window tint on the gauge lenses, and yes, the light shines through perfect. Itis only blacked out when the bike is not running. All in all I think it gives an updated look and it looks sick!!

 

light shines through from out side, or inside...? i would imagine during the day it might be a bit of a problem

 

light shines through both ways, i got the idea off of my buddies wrx sti, the gauges being so close to the tinted surface allow them to be seen as clear as day when they are illuminated, and if a bright light is shined on them when the bike is not on, you can see through them also

looks sweet, i used to do alot of custom stuff like that when i was into tuning imports. i used the same window tint idea on a couple of my cars.

 

whay pecent tint did you use?

 

20% tintwith 194bulbs
