New Graphics
Hi, I was in the process of making a set of these and wanted to share. They're Flo. Red with Chrome shadows/highlights. The logo on the tank, the "600" on the tail, and the "CBR" and "HONDA" on the fairings are in chrome too. I'll update this with some pics hopefully during the week as my actual bike progresses. Right now my bike is just gloss black awaiting the graphics.
Anyways, just wanted to share and also see if there was any interest in me running off a few more sets.
Thanks,
Dennis

RE: New Graphics
Thanks. I've been staying away from the Flo. colors and special metalics like Chrome and stuff because of the durability. They were previously only 6 month durability, but now they're 2 years. If that still doesn't sound like much, think of your bike sitting outside in the sun/rain for 2 straight years before seeing a problem. The regular vinyl I work with every day is 8 year.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

RE: New Graphics
Thanks for the encouragement. That set shown above was originally done in orange I think. There were a few more pics, but that one came out looking Flo. Red for some reason and caught my eye. I think the design is rather standard (I forget which company was showing it first), so I'd like to modify it a bit in the future. The set I made is more expensive for me to produce than "standard" colors just because Flo. and Chrome are about 4 times as expensive as regular vinyl, but still nowhere near what you see on some websites.
Anybody interested in me running them off a set of these or something similar, just PM or email me. I don't want to post prices and stuff here and make it sound like a sales effort.
Please feel free to post any thoughts or ideas. The newer materials I've been using are nice because they are so thin and have more of the "paint" appearence. Some of the colors that used to be 5-6mil. are now 1-2mil. with the same or better durability.
Thanks

RE: New Graphics
Ok, finally got them cut and on. The camera just can't seem to pick up the actual color and it keeps looking a little orange-ish when it really looks like battery powered Flo Red. I still might tweak them a bit. Not really sure...
The white rims totally kill it I think. They'll be black soon.
