Default New to the forum!!!

Hey guys, I just purchased a 94 and boy is it a joy. Its my first bike and my first day of possession and god damn... for not knowing how to ride a bike ... but riding it and comparing it to a car... shiet.... lol. So much more fun. Its like being a kid again. haha.

Anyways, I don't have pictures of it yet, I will have some up today. The bike is in pretty good condition. Has 37k miles but motor was rebuilt. Body was resprayed (Not the best but not the worse). I need to change the brake lines, and adjust the clutch cable (grabbing too high). Maybe down the line, give it a carb clean up. Does anyone know how to adjust the clutch cable so it won't grab so high? I want it to grab lower...

Anyways, I finally joined the club after soo many years of wanting to. So hello!

The only thing you can do with the clutch is adjusting the cable at the engine side of the it. There is no other adjustment to make it engage sooner. In the manual they describe how to adjust it. But the good thing about the clutch biting late is that you have only to use 2 fingers when pulling it in. And you don't have to pull the clutch all the way in. Half way is planty in most cases. Cheers.

Damn, no adjustment only at the motor eh? Do you happen to have any diagrams of it? Man I live in L.A. and the heat is a killer. Doesn't even make me wanna go outside let alone ride my bike and get burned.

I noticed my bike has an adjustable ride high suspension in the back. Almost like coilovers on a car with the adjustment plates. The brand is Ohlins. Any good? But yea, thanks for the warm welcoming.

Welcome to the forum! I have a 93 with 35K miles on it and love it. Sounds a lot like you bike! Keep the rubber side down.
