Default Need some help

Hey guys, well as you guys can see im new a new memeber to the forum, but Ive been lurking for a couple months, as Ive been looking to purchase my first bike. Ive done alot of looking nd Ive found a pretty cheap f2, but i have some concerns I wanted to see if I could clear up thru some of you experts.

Im looking to purchase a 94 F2 for 750 with a salvaged title. He says hes ridden fine but recently the battery does hold a charge. He said he can put a jump pack on it and itll start up and he can ride it. He said last time he rode it, he jumped it and it ran for 8 Miles before stalling and the battery being drained. I was thinking rectifier.

He thinks it just needs a new battery but he "doesnt want to put any more effort into it"

Im a mechanic so Im pretty good with DIY.

So what do you guys think? Should i go for it or pass?

im no expert, but yes it will most likely be the R/R. Easy fix for a mechanic such as yourself. If thats the only thing holding you back, then go for it.
