Default Need help!

Okay so I have a 1992 cbr 600f2. I'll be riding it down the road and when I shift up to the last gear it wount let me do over 70. But if I keep it in a lower gear and go over 70 then shift into the last gear it will go faster. I'm so lost. What could it be? Is it typical??

"Is it typical??", Don't think so. "What could it be?", from the info. you provided, I thought of these: 1. Something going on with the 6th gear/trans. 2. It's somehow fuel starved? I believe it's harder to notice a fuel problem when you're in the lower gears or using higher rpm. Or maybe you're shifting into the last gear too soon? Agreed, definitely need more info.

Problem with trans/cluth or shifting too soon, any idea your spark plugs condition, maybe it bogs out at low rpm which is what mine did, but it was every gear at low rpm, though you may have not noticed it yet in other gears.
