it's actually an airtech kit...i dont like the way the seat is eithier, but back in 06 when i purchased it thats the way it came....how far r from me....if we get another decent day we ought to ride

yea i know....eventually ill mess with it..it is the stock seat cut in half....12 inch strecth....ran across it on craigslist for $50....

Looks like a 97-98 F3 race tail. That would explain the fitment issues around the front of the seat against the tank and the weirdness near the cowl.

i wonder if u couldnt just trim the rear seat cowl alittle bit to allow the whole stock seat to slide up under it. i know some kits fit like that.

yeah, i've thought about.....as u can c my bike is spray painted black....my plan is to have all pieces painted (color?) n have the seat refoamed n fitted

I am about 1 3/4hrs from Charlottesville. I'm up for a ride, but not until spring/summer. I still have a few things left to do to my bike to make it roadworthy. It was crashed in the front end and I've been rebuilding it.

how far from martinsville do u guys live. im like 40 min. from there in nc. im looking for some people to ride with next spring. smitty i love that color on the f2. i wish mine was that color.

martinsville is bout 2 1/2 from me.......got peeps in danville, so that might b possible....roll it on the trailer and meet u...yeah smitty I like that color scheme 2...may b will hook up in the spring....i love the corners, so thats the riding i prefer....any of you thought about going to the track...im preparing a 99 zx9r for that now.....pics available on zxforums/ zx9/ dlh
