Did you get the stock RR? Most people tend to upgrade to the gsxr one when they go. It's a common issue with these bikes.

I installed my new RR and tested my stator plugs and battery output and load test. Everything looked ok... took it for a spin past 2 days and today on my way to work, the bikes bogs down again and cuts off, as if i was starving it of gas.
My first assumption was that my stator was indeed bad and i possible ruined a brand new RR. After some google and searching the forum, i began leaning away from electrical to maybe a vacuum issue. I have the bastard CA emissions F2 so the breather hose of my tank runs down to the can under the bike near the center stand.
I think theirs a clog somewhere between the tank and that can or even the can inself, so after i work i just pulled the hose connecting the both... She ran beautifully full of power. So my question is should i even bother reconnecting that hose?

I took my Cali stuff off and it ran fine. Put it back on and had some issues that ultimately tied into one of the two control valves in the emission system. Its back off now, but I'll figure it out someday. The idea is to capture gas fumes in the can and when the motor is running, the vacuum draws the fumes from the tank and sends it in to be burned with the normal gas/air mixture. Sounds like the incoming vent to the can is plugged.

sup guys, havent posted
here in a while so i figured i would update everyone on my F2.. I decided to bite the bullet and get some ebay fairings and so far i am pleased with the quality.. They do however scratch alot easier than oem and the parts closest to the engine look like there warping just a tad. Ive gone through 2 R/R due to a bad ground that was causing them to cook up and fail. It would get so hot to the point it failed and in turn it would overcharge the **** out of battery, around 19+ Volts at 5000+ rpms. I fixed the ground, and hardwired in the GSXR R/R. At idle im getting around 12v however when i rev to 5000 rpm it never gets to 14v just stays at 12.3 - 12.5. Is that common with the GSXR R/R
