Very stable! I used the grommet from the lower mounting hole and it helped a lot. When riding, i can actually see all of my speedo except 0-5, and thats easy to figure out. I took a pivture once i put it all back together as well. Got it to 100 today and everything stayed in place with very minimal (normal) vibration.

Glad it worked out for ya. Looks good too. For further modification and to give it a more finished look, I'm playing around with the idea of making a carbon fiber "dash" cover to replace the stock black plastic. Figured if I can get it closer to the gauges to where it's not so bulky it'll look better and give it a more finished look. I'll let ya know how it goes, right after I finish my tear down and rebuild.
It looks good by the way. Nice to see it all put together.

So would I!!! It will happen, just one thing at a time. I figure if its flat, filling the spaces except for the gauge, with just a slight lip around the gauges itll look good. However, I still have alot of work to go before I get that far.

Alright, so i had to replave a fuse for my headlights today and made a few discoveries along the way.
1. My fuse box is under the gas tank
2. The petcock can unscrew, therefor leaking gas
3. I have an K&N air filter!
4. I dont have any ram air tubes hooked up to my intake box, and cant see any way they would even hook up (any one have pictures?)

On my 94 they aren't exactly "ram air" tubes. Just two snorkels that turn down in the front of the air box. I have a pic from the top.

I can dig in the box and snap a pic later tho seeing as it's apart at the moment.
As for the k&n, I've heard they can make it hard to tune. So if your tuning it and have a problem, throw a stock paper in there. Try tightening the petcock. If that doesnt work then you may try to replace the oring if its leaking from the connection. My fuse box was moved also, I crammed it through the hole in the frame up towards the neck so I could get to it easier. I moved it so it wasnt exposed after my fairing conversion.

look like im missing this whole setup

ill probably just make my own little tubular setup to help it ram some more air in there. i thought of removing the K&N and using small cone filters on the end of the tubular setup im making, but i feel that will cause a few more issues. maybe ill try it.

You have a piece I don't lol. That part, the flat part goes towards the forks. The snorkels come up and into the top of the air box.
