Post My '93 F2

A walk around while idle and some rev.

I plan on still getting:

- Yellow grips.
- Red levers.
- Red bar tips.
- Yellow wheel trim.
- Red tank spine.
- Grab bar.
- Carbon Fiber Yoshi slip-on.
- Red Chain.
- Red or blue headlight bulb.
- Red footpegs.

If you have any ideas of what you think might look good please let me know.

Looks real nice - I've seen the Red Bull bodywork for the F2, but this is the first time I've seen it mounted, and I gotta say, it looks far better than I imagined it would - looks really good!

The bike sounds good too, nice steady idle, no misses of any kind.

Welcome to the forum, by the way.

Thanks, I love the kit on it. Had to do my own tank since the kit doesn't come with the tank fairing. Hard to match the paint perfectly and the Honda Wing vinyls are slightly off-color. I'll redo the tank this winter when she's in hibernation.

I'm glad you didn't use the tank cover, as those things don't fit right, leaving an unsightly gap around the gas cap, AND they mark up the paint on the acutal tank, AND they add about 2 pound of unnecessary weight!

Even if you're slightly mismatched in color, it still looks better than using the tank cover... in my opinion anyway.

The wings aren't bad either, really, but you could try the red ones when you redo it, like what I used on my race bike tank, though they might not match that Red Bull red might not match - it seems to be a touch different. Of course, you could always use white... white is white!

Yup, that's a bit sexy, nice work! Exhaust sounds throaty and deep, my favourite two words... When describing exhausts of course.

Got a stainless tip for when I cruise nights sometimes with the Yoshi off. I rarely take it off but... I like to hear how loud she can get sometimes..

Going to go with this chain for the next purchase.

Dang, that is loud without the pipe on it!

Love the look of your bike! Hard to believe they're 20 year old bikes!!! As beautiful as they are stock colors, they still look great with a new set of fairings.

I went the eBay route and got the same set in blue a few years back. Still a work in progress, and I do plan to paint the tank to match. I had the tank cover to match on it for a bit, but it was a TERRIBLE fit!

Check out mine if your curious: https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-600f2...d-bull-141803/

Well... That red chain is going to come a bit sooner than I originally planned...

This happened while on my way to town the other night... locked my wheel up at about 50 mph.
