Here are the original sized pics from PB. Its a rattle can paint job, so she is a 10 foot looker for sure. Ill probably go back and touch up the lines as some bled thru the tape and i want to add more clear coats.

I am still trying to figure out what exhaust i have on there. It was on there when i bought the bike.

Its a straight thru design and has the small rectangular plate riveted near the end. It has a straight cut tip and not rolled like most.
Its been painted over in some super strength paint. Ive tried to remove the paint on the plate to see if there is anything on it still.

I thought it was a D&D but the tip design is different and its not stock as the mounting bracket is different.

Has anybody seen anything like this one before? Just curious as to what it is.

Replaced the Regulator Rectifier yesterday as my year old GSXR replacement went bad. I replaced it with another 5 wire 2002 GSXR 1000 one and all is good again.

I was getting 12.3V at idle and barely 13V at 5000rpm

With the new one i get 13.2V at idle and 14.6V at 5000 rpm

It sucks to have to replace one so soon, but your new readings are just about perfect!

By the way, I missed your previous post - are you trying to identify the muffler, header or both? Post up some close up pics of what you're trying to ID, and we'll certainly try to help out, unless, of course, you already figured it out during these last two months!

I was trying to figure out what brand the muffler is. I havent seen anything like it yet thru my searches.

I did add a digital volt gauge to monitor my voltage at the battery. Its just zip tied up there but it doesn't move around and does the job. Just some extra piece of mind while riding to be able to monitor my voltage.

How did you wire the battery voltage meter up? To any 12v ignition wire, or straight to battery

I did the positive wire from the gauge to a on/off switch to a inline fuse to the battery.
The negative side of the gauge to the negative of the battery.
Here is a quick drawing.
Its like having my voltmeter hooked up all the time but with the switch i can turn it on and off when i want to.

This past weekend i took her on about a 500 mile round trip from Vegas to Orange County. I was impressed with the long ride. Im not used to riding anything close to that distance or time but overall it wasnt too bad. The 600rr seat is not the most comfortable seat, but stopping for gas and to eat gave me a chance to stretch.
I only used 5 gallons of gas each way and its 257 miles. Not bad and much better mileage than my M3 which normally uses about 11 gallons each way.

You really get a different perspective on the terrain and scenary when you are more open to it while riding.
I travel to Ca pretty often and may take the bike more often , as long as the weather permits.

The switch is just to turn it on and off yea? That's pretty simple, thanks
