Hi all, Im just bought a 92 cbr 600 and went on a 250mile trip with a few mates, about half way back after refuelling my poor bike pops and misses on accelleration. I have cleaned out the carbs and checked the spark plugs and even drained the fuel tank and refuelled again. I have checked all the leads for corrosion and fitting just incase it was electrical and it doesnt matter whether she is hot or cold it does it all the time...HELP!!!... I have read on here about rectifier problems could this be the cause?? or shall i start by changing the plugs leads and coils?

question, since this was a 250mile trip. as far as i get about 140~160miles on mine. in Alberta 220km or so... but when you had to fill up. what type of fuel did you find. depending on where you are.. but allways use 91+ is it possible you ended up with only option of 87? which could cause engine issues. early ignition.

 

thx for reply, sorry for confussion it was my second refuel of the day....i wish i could get 250miles from a tank..lol. the fuel used was a 97 octane rating unleaded, but i have decided it wasnt the fuel as my friend also with a cbr600 f2 used the same pump as myself...
